I was studying with a friend at Starbucks, when I started to get hungry, the baristas wouldn’t microwave my lunch so my friend offered me the keys to his parents highlander hybrid to drive to the Whole Foods in the next lot to cook my lunch.
Turning it on was uneventful because nothing happens... You just hit the button and you’re supposed to assume it’s ready to go. Driving it was super boring, the steering was just dead. My old Taurus was a hoot to drive compared to this thing. Acceleration was ok, I’m no speed demon, but it got me to the speeds I wanted to travel with ease.
Parking at a whole foods in a big wagon on a Sunday was the usual amount of misery.
Would I do it again, sure why not. Would I buy one. NO.
Maybe a CRZ...

Well... I was expecting something more Lively than my crown Vic...

Why??? It’s a more modern vehicle with a lot of heft to it, it's going to feel assisted. I would expect more out of your Vic than a hybridlander
